POSTCARD PROJECT SERIES

The paintings below are from two "100 Days of Painting" challenges. Originally, this was a challenge within the Instagram artist's community to inspire artists to paint on a daily basis. Over time, this project has become an indispensable part of my painting practice. The learnings and discoveries I have made through this ongoing commitment have been inspirational for many of my larger paintings and series. I have finished my third series and am currently working on my fourth. 

POSTCARD PROJECT NO.1 

Titled, "Postcards from Tomorrow", the goal of my first project was simply to paint at least one postcard a day, (4" x 6" acrylic paintings) without any parameters. Shown below are 60 of the 100 postcards from this first project arranged in three groups of 20.

POSTCARD PROJECT NO. 2

Titled "100 Days of Postcard Poetry", my goal for this postcard project was to explore color and form relationships by painting in groups of four.
